Write for us
Northern Tennis Review welcomes thoughtful pitches that help readers understand tennis more clearly. We are interested in accurate, self-contained ideas about rules, tactics, equipment, court surfaces, formats and traditions.
What makes a good pitch
Send a short proposal that states the reader’s question, the central explanation and why the subject is worth a piece. A strong pitch has a specific angle, explains its key terms and can be useful without relying on unverified claims, personal access or a product test. Tell us which part of tennis the idea concerns and what a reader should understand by the end.
Contributions we consider
We consider explanatory features, comparisons, historical context, myth-checking and carefully scoped viewing or participation guides. Submissions should be original, factual and written for a general reader. We do not seek promotional copy, unsupported claims or personal coaching instructions presented as universal advice.
How to send an idea
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a brief outline and any relevant sources or expertise you want us to consider. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before sending a full draft.
