Editorial policy
Northern Tennis Review aims to make tennis easier to understand through accurate, clearly scoped explanations. We distinguish established rules and terminology from interpretation, and correct material errors openly.
Accuracy and scope
We check factual statements against reliable, relevant material available to the editorial process and take care with rules, definitions and historical claims. Tennis formats and regulations can vary by competition; where that matters, we identify the scope rather than presenting one setting as universal. Analysis is presented as analysis, not as a settled fact.
Independence and corrections
Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding, not to promise favourable coverage. If a reader spots a factual error, they can contact us with the article and the issue. We review correction requests and amend confirmed errors with a clear note when the change materially affects the meaning.
Partner material
Paid or partner-supported material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee a particular editorial conclusion, and partner links or placements are presented as such.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrations are used to support understanding, not as evidence that a particular match, player or event took place.
